Immigration Evaluations with Dr. Laurel Bluntzer

My Mission

For over a decade, I have dedicated my practice to providing expertly crafted psychological evaluations for immigration cases, recognizing the profound and often life-altering impact these assessments have on families navigating an uncertain future.  I understand intimately how powerful a comprehensive psychological evaluation can be in providing critical evidence to support a case.

MY Approach

My approach is focused on delivering thorough and compassionate assessment services for both children and adults. I work diligently to identify and document the psychological factors—such as trauma, hardship, or mental health issues—that directly affect families and are essential to their immigration proceedings.

Commitment to Quality & Timeliness

I am committed to efficiency without sacrificing quality. A thorough, expert written report, meticulously detailing the findings and conclusions of the psychological assessment, is guaranteed to be provided within two weeks of your comprehensive evaluation appointment. This timely delivery ensures that your legal team has the necessary documentation when they need it most.

Expertise

My extensive experience ensures that you receive the highest standard of care and professionalism. I have successfully provided evaluations for a variety of cases, including:

  • Asylum: Assessing psychological trauma and persecution to support claims.
  • Extreme Hardship Waivers: Documenting the severe psychological hardship a qualifying relative would experience if the applicant were removed from the United States.
  • VAWA (Violence Against Women Act): Providing evaluations for self-petitioners who have suffered abuse.
  • T-Visa and U-visa: Assessing the psychological impact of human trafficking (T-Visa) and being a victim of a qualifying crime (U-visa).
  • N-648 Medical Certification for Disability Exceptions: Providing the necessary psychological documentation for applicants seeking an exception to the English and civics requirements for naturalization.
